FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR HOLIDAY DECOR

Fall Decor Tips
GREAT FALL DECOR TIPS FOR PUMPKINS

Here are the 5 pumpkin - licious facts spelled out....

1. Make Them Last

Pumpkins and gourds are a fantastic way to bring the warmth of fall into your home.  Make them last the entire fall into your home.  Make them last the entire fall season by soaking them in a bath of 10 parts water and 1 part bleach. Dry, then use a soft cloth to buff with vaseline to keep them shiny and sealed.

2. Get Fancy

Do you cringe at the thought of bright orange pumpkins disturbing your upscale decor? White Pumpkins mixed with spray-painted metallic pumpkins in hues to match your home are a lovely addition.  Simply tape off the stem, and spray the pumpkin in your color choice and let dry.

3. Welcome Home

Your porch should always be warm and inviting, but Fall makes it even easier to add some charm. Begin by gathering pumpkins in all different shapes, sizes, and colors.  Add in flowers, corn stalks, and any other rustic element.  Using the space you have, arrange up the steps, around the front door, or along the porch.

4. Center of Attention

Nothing screams Fall like warm soups and freshly baked breads.  Enjoy your dining area even more with a pumpkin center piece.  Simply line up some favorite pumpkins with a garland and spread some fall leaves in between them, or follow these instructions to make a pumpkin vase:

  1. Cut off the top of the pumpkin. Scoop out seeds and pulp.
  2. Place a small glass container inside the pumpkin.
  3. Trim flowers to fint and arrange in the glass.

5. Contain the Minis

Mini-pumpkins can be adorable, but often look cluttery.  Simply place many of them inside of a glass vase, hurricane, or apocathery jar to add a whimsical and classy touch to your mantle or table
